Predator Prey

Seeds → Wild Rat → Doolly Monkey → Large Snake (I am aware that the Doolly Monkey eats a variety of seeds as well.) One animal that the Doolly Monkey preys upon is the Wild Rat. An adaptation that helps this organism escape from the Doolly Monkey is their high replacement rate or fertility rate. This makes it difficult for predators to eliminate the organism's population. One predator of the Doolly Monkey is a Large Snake. An adaptation that helps a Large Snake hunt for the Doolly Monkey is how they move. Snakes in general move by slithering which allows them to easily sneak up on their prey. One adaptation that helps the Doolly Monkey hunt for prey is using tools. Crazy enough like us humans they use these in many ways like sticks to capture small intrigued animals inside a log or any other confined place. A way this organism can avoid becoming prey is by staying away from areas with a large number of predators. And if they are born into these areas they can always try to keep distance or mark their home territory. If a disease kills half of this organisms prey there would be limited food resources and the population size would decrease because of it. The Doolly Monkey might adapt to a new food source to replace the lost one.
